As important as it is to secure a relationship with a new Realtor, it’s more important to maintain that relationship!
We have all experienced that excitement when a Realtor calls in response to your marketing efforts. You have made a successful “sale” and now is the time to deliver on your promise.
You know that you can deliver the quality photos that you promised. But what do you deliver in addition to those photos?
You’re selling good quality photos but you’re selling “YOU” as well! Any business lives or dies because of communication. Or lack of it.
Letting a client know what your process is and what you’re doing every step of the way is crucial.
The reality is that sometimes, businesses or services fail to deliver on time. It happens. Sometimes it’s our fault. Most of the time it’s due to circumstances beyond our control.
What is always in our control is how you handle those circumstances. Admitting a mistake is not the end of the world. A client will appreciate you taking responsibility for an error.
What they won’t tolerate is excuses. They will be able to tell if you are shifting the blame and you may lose that client. If you do make, and admit to an error, be prepared to offer something to make the situation right.
Realtors are in business to make money and money talks. It’s not the end of the world to reduce your profit on a job. Better to lose a few cents and keep a profitable relationship.
We are here to give the realtor one less thing to worry about. Do that a few times and your client will come to depend on you for your professionalism and oh yes, those quality photos!
